Dr. Orland Gonzalez (LMU)
Zimmer group
- Orland Gonzalez did his PhD in computational biology jointly at the Max-Planck Institute for Biochemistry (Prof. Oesterhelt) and the LMU Munich (Prof. Zimmer). He is currently a post-doctoral fellow in the Bioinformatics unit of the LMU. His research interests include the reconstruction and analysis of metabolic networks, the development of new computational methods for the contextual interpretation of RNAi-based functional screening data, and the analysis host-pathogen interactions.
Dr. Dmitry Ivankov (TUM)
Frishman group
- Current research interests of Dmitry Ivankov include analysis of
peptides coming from tandem mass-spectrometry (MS) based proteomics. One
part of research concerns analysis of signal peptides evidenced by
tandem MS based proteomics. The other part of research is the analysis
of detectabilities of different proteins in MS experiments.
